ARTWORK FORMATS & REQUIREMENTS

Formats – ACCEPTABLE:
-
Vector/Outline Artwork (composed
of lines) Adobe Illustrator (Version CS3 or less)
Files saved as .eps or .ai.
-
-- BITMAPS or JPEGs SAVED AS
.eps WILL NOT WORK.
-
Corel Draw (Version 10 or less) Files saved as .cdr.
-
No
imbedded bitmaps items.
-
Fonts must be "converted to curves" (Corel), "create
outlines" (Illustrator)
-
Spot colors (Pantone), not CMYK or RGB. If CMYK
or RGB, additional art charges will be incurred.
-
Half tones must be in a dot pattern no more than
65 dpi at a 45 degree angle.
File
Formats – NON-ACCEPTABLE:
-
Word Processing Program Artwork (PowerPoint, Word
Perfect, Word) These files cannot be used, too pixilated
(low resolution).

Spreadsheet
Program Artwork (Excel, Quattro) Files cannot be
used, too pixilated (low resolution).
-
Web
Page Artwork (Cut & Pastes) Files cannot be used,
too pixilated (low resolution).
Processes:
-
One color: All acceptable files
may be used.
Bitmap files must be created as black image. Pixelation
may be a problem.

Multiple color: Vector files only.
-
Digital (photograph-like): All
acceptable files may be used. For digital banners,
for best results, use .ai .eps or .psd at 100% size
and 300 dpi.

Vinyl Cutting (signs, banners,
lettering): Vector files only.
Miscellaneous:
-
If separations are being furnished, the separation
for each color must be printed as a black image.
Each separation should include top and bottom center
marks which will be used as registration marks.

White
Underbase is required for screen printing on
dark items.
-
Do not e-mail art if over 3mb.
